DOD:S Server Rules

We aim to provide you a clean and enjoyable place to play BF2 and DOD:S. We provide this at no cost to you - so don't come into our house and act disrespectfully. We will treat you with respect and we hope to have a good time fraggin' with you, but this can only happen if you agree to our rules. If you expect to play on our server, then you need to know what we expect from you. If you can't follow these rules and guidelines, then don't play on our server. These rules serve as your warning. Ignorance is not an excuse. We'll kick you if you don't behave!

RESPECT THE ADMINS

Respect and listen to the [CS] clan members! They are here to help you. A disrespectful attitude is the fastest way to banishment on our server. None of the clan members enjoys baby-sitting on the server - so if you make us waste our time dealing with your attitude - we will return the favor. Also - don't come to our server trying to tell us how to run it or telling us that we have stupid rules, etc. If you want a new map, then don't demand it - start a map vote or request a change. We play this game for fun - don't come to our house and start complaining about the wallpaper - because we aren't changing it!

RESPECT YOUR FELLOW PLAYERS

Don't ridicule other players (especially if they are newbs). Help them out if you can - otherwise just be patient. Remember that you were new at one point also. If you choose to act offensively toward other players - the admins will abuse you. Also, don't be rude or selfish in your play style. We consider such things as sprinting out in front of your team members to grab a flag VERY RUDE. Part of respect is thinking more highly of your teammates than yourself. As long as the team is doing well, you shouldn't be concerned about your personal score or stats.

INAPPROPRIATE SCREEN NAMES AND LANGUAGE

Don't come to our server using an offensive or inappropriate screen name. We will change your name for you if you do. Don't come to our server using any form of offensive language (written or spoken). We won't tolerate foul language, racism, harassment or general stupidity. This also means - don't bypass the swear filter.

DO NOT RECRUIT ON OUR SERVER

Please don't come to our server in an attempt to recruit for your clan. If you want to build your clan membership, do it the old fashioned way - open a server and wait for people to log on. We consider it extremely rude to harass our server regulars about joining other clans. Anyone caught recruiting on our server will be banned permanently. We don't mind if you want to advertise a website or something like that...but that is the limit.

NO RECRUITING ALLOWED!

If you want to harass people with unsolicited offers to join your clan...visit ANY server other than ours.

RESERVED SLOTS

Slots are reserved for Clan members- you may get automatically kicked if the server is full and a member logs on - so don't take it personally - just keep trying to log in. If you would like to have a reserved slot of your own, then donate $5 to the clan on the Donate page and we will setup a reserved slot for you for 1 month.

BF2 Server Rules

This server is all about TEAM play. We do not care what rank you are, what your skill level is, or what your k/d ratio is. We care about how you support your team and team objectives. If you just want to rack up kills as a Lone Wolf find another server to frag on.

Respect your fellow players no matter what rank they are or what their skill level is. Help out the new people if possible.
Be a team player: This cannot be emphasized enough! Help your team in whatever manner necessary even if this means doing something you don’t normally do. If your team is losing and you have a high k/d ratio and a low objective score you need to change what you are doing to something that can help your team win.
Camping is not allowed: This server is all about moving forward and capturing objectives. Camping corners for cheap kills and camping in the backfield waiting for action is not allowed. Keep moving!
Aircraft: Don’t be an aircraft hog. Give others a chance to fly. If aircraft are not available do not wait around for the aircraft to respawn. Get in the game some other way. If you are in an aircraft make sure you are helping your team with objectives not just racking up kills. Don’t jump into an aircraft and bail out over an objective. Aircraft are for support of operations and for battling the opposing team’s aircraft not for personal transportation. Pick up a gunner if you have an aircraft that needs gunners. Having a gunner greatly increases your effectiveness.
Land vehicles: We expect you to pick up your teammates and get them into the action if they request a lift. We expect vehicles to be used in support of your team not for personal joy rides.
Intentional Team Killing. Don’t do it. Intentional team killing will not be tolerated. Intentional team killing to stop a teammate from getting an aircraft or vehicle will result in an immediate ban.
Base spawn camping: While there are legitimate reasons to get inside the enemy base spawn (destroy assets, kill enemy team commander, etc), please try not to camp inside the enemy spawn for the sake of easy kills.
Commanders: If you are a commander we expect you to sit somewhere and command. Don’t run around capturing objectives.
Squad up: This is not the server to go it alone. If all the squads are full start another one.
Listen to your team commander and squad leader. They are in charge and directing the action. We encourage communication with your squad and commanders.
Snipers: We expect snipers to help capture objectives not sit back and rack up kills.
Inappropriate or offensive screen names will not be tolerated. Keep it clean. If we think your screen name is offensive we will let you know. We realize your screen name is tied to your account but offensive screen names will not be allowed.
Language: Foul or offensive language whether typed or spoken will not be tolerated. We will not tolerate swearing, racism, harassment of any kind, or innuendos that refer to any of the above.
Hacking or map exploits: Hacks, cheats, and abuse of map exploits will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

DOD:S Server Rules

Why do we have these rules? Because we refuse to allow DOD to become a "Camper's Paradise". The members of this clan believe DOD is all about capping flags. It is not about playing defense. It's not about getting a great kill to death ratio. Offense wins the game. The team that caps the most flags wins. If you don't agree or if you prefer to sit in the back playing defense, then you'll probably be better off on another server.

Friendly Fire is ON! Intentional TKs = Banned: We run our server with friendly fire ON. This means that you will injure anyone you shoot or stab - INCLUDING your teammates. SO, in order to prevent any accidental wounding, we do not allow anyone to shoot their weapon while in or near spawn. Save it for the enemy. ANY intentional team-wounding or team-killing will get you banned. This includes intentional team-killing during the time immediately before a map change. This childishness is annoying to say the least and it won't be tolerated.
Hacking or map exploits: Hacks, cheats and abuse of map exploits are strictly prohibited. IF you are caught using any of these - consider yourself BANNED forever. You can be a LOSER on some other server. Don't attempt to accuse ANY player on this server of cheating. Simply record a demo of the player you suspect and email it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Don't EVER attempt to accuse any member of this clan of cheating. We play with the highest level of integrity when it comes to cheats. We DON'T use them and we WON'T use them. If you have a big problem with getting killed frequently by some of the best DOD players around - then go find a new server to play on where they won't shoot you.
Spawn Camping: No spawn camping or entry killing. Entry killing means sitting around at doorway entrances or laying around in dark rooms waiting for some poor sap to walk up to you. These are cheap kills and this style of playing is not accomplishing the goal of CAPPING FLAGS. Finally, you are NEVER allowed to throw grenades into the enemy spawn.
Campers will be abused: Don't play on our server if you intend to lay around in the backfield or if you intend to hide around in dark corners for easy kills. We aren't interested in having you on our server if you aren't interested in playing this game as intended - CAPPING THE FLAGS. This game is team-oriented capture the flag. We don't care if your Kill to Death ratio is 0.01 - we just want players that are interested in helping their team cap flags and win the map. So, if we see you laying around or hiding in dark corners - we will urge you to get in the game and help with the flags. If you don't respond, we will slap, slay or kick you. f you are new to DOD, then just let us know. We would be glad to help you learn the ropes. You can also try spectating for a while before you actually start playing - to get a feel for the game and to see how others play. We won't ever punish you if you are new AND you let us know. But the best way to learn is to get out there and cap some flags - DON'T sit in the back.
MGs and Snipers: ChristianSoldiers does not endorse the typical style of game play for DOD. While some servers may not mind if you want to go prone and rack up kills (regardless of which weapon you are using) while you rarely capture any flags. However, we intend for EVERY class player to be constantly on the move. If you go prone, you better be crawling forward. If you're a sniper or an MG, we DEMAND that you constantly move forward. Get setup in one spot, get a kill, and move. If we see you sitting in the same spot for an extended time, you will be kicked or slayed.
Team Balancing: Keep the teams as even as possible - a team difference of 1 is acceptable. So, don't log on and make teams uneven - if you do, you will be asked to move. If you don't respond, we will automatically move you.
Voice Communiations: Don't abuse the voice channel. If you choose to say stupid things or just act obnoxious on the voice channel - you will be muted. Be considerate of others and try to keep un-necessary chat to a minimum.
