Mistake?

The first time I ever played on your server I was banned within 5 minutes of joining. I never said a word to anyone via text or vcomms. I have been gaming since '99 and have never been banned anywhere in any game. I admin on some of the strictest servers out there so I know how it can get. When I was on there was a couple guys dropping Fbombs left and right and using JC's name I think to get a rise outa u guys. So maybe it was a fat finger ban (I've done those before). When I looked up my ban on your server it say being a HammerHead? I don't even know what that means. I was banned around 7:32 PM PST Today. My score was 2-3 and the map was dod_diversion_b4. My steam ID is STEAM_0:0:5134262 and the name I used was Tools for Fools!. In the list of players banned around my time (there were 3) I did not see the troublemakers name so I assume I was banned by mistake. I think the guys name was NotWellKnownSoldier? The banning admin was [CS] Raston. I never saw or heard a warning of any kind so no clue what I could have possibly done.

Definitely sounds like it could have been a "fat finger" mistake. Let's hear from Raston to see what happened on his side. Then, I'm sure the ban can be removed.

It was I who banned the two foul mouthed persons for a week, I would prefer longer. I wasn't real familiar with your name so I just gave you a 1 day ban because I wasn't sure if it was you or Unknownsoldier. I realize now it was a mistake and I'm sorry for the mixup. Glad you took the time to object, I will remember your name next time. Mark it up to the fat finger of fate.

I think I remember this event, and Raston might have even have commented on it at the time - that he might have been in error. If that was the (k)night, it was a rather excessive crowd of troublemakers we had and it was confusing. In any event, we strive to keep our server clean since we have youngsters on from time to time and we want a fair and clean environment for them and us oldsters with tender ears.
