Raston, I have not seen anything negative on the GTX 460. So I do not think you will have any problems with it playing any games. However, if you are worried about reliability, well, that is not discovered by the public till they just start breaking. More chips based on scaled down version should come out later. Just depends on how long you want to wait.

I'm looking at the GTX 465 with the 1GB. It's about $50 more but the 1 GB would be nice. I've already gone over my $1,000 limit but having a system that'll be about a year old by today's specs and can be upgraded it should last awhile. With the SATA 6.0 I'm tempted to get a HD with it but want to go RAID and can't really afford two of them so will probably go two SATA 3.0 HD's. That's really a tough decision because I'll be wasting the feature.

I think the GTX 460 is the 768MB version and the 465 is 1GB. I've not seen any 460's in 1GB yet on New Egg.

I recommend XFX 5850 Black graphics and Zalman CPU coolers. Kickin!

And cooler than Nvidia

I haven't done much since putting my list together. The garden is taking priority for the moment with everything maturing at the same time. :ohno: Here's the card I'm considering.

Make sure to check the power supply that it has the connectors. I saw the card takes two power connectors for it.
