Well, I finally spent 2 hours last night re-learning how to create map installers for DOD:S on my Vista 64 bit machine. I used to have a pretty simple system that I lost when Vista died during an update last spring/summer.
I went to the Steam DOD:S forums and found several new maps that have been released in the last 15 months since I visited. I found about 9 maps and added them to the DOD:S server AND to the website Downloads page.
Here are the maps:

I couldn't agree with you more...If I had the money, the time, and the motivation for a fresh install, I would make the change. I put Windows 7 on my wife's computer and it is MUCH more stable than mine.
